A dusty dirt road winds past the church, past Skalbjerge to the beach by the point of Jegindø. The point curves East towards Kås Hoved, where the wicked “Trolls of Salling” live. Jegindø was created out of all the rocks and all the dirt that there trolls threw at Søndbjerg Church.
Now the trolls have left and the happy summer visitors have taken over. They enjoy life on the beach. While those who only want to look at “the landscape”, take a quite stroll to the point of the island. At low tide you can walk out as far as a kilometre.
